Olive Tree Projects is a nonprofit organization committed to preserving families by improving maternal and child health in Jacmel, Haiti. Through its fundraising branches in the US and Canada, Olive Tree Projects provides comprehensive healthcare, education, and support services to pregnant women, new mothers, and children. Our mission is to empower families by offering life-saving medical care, community-based programs, and sustainable solutions that enhance quality of life.

Olive Tree Projects was founded by Sarah Wallace, a passionate advocate for maternal and child health in Haiti. Driven by her deep connection to the Haitian community, Sarah's journey began with a vision to reduce preventable infant and maternal deaths in Jacmel. Her dedication grew as she witnessed the struggles of families torn apart due to inadequate healthcare and poverty.

Sarah’s approach centers on family preservation, ensuring that children remain with their families rather than ending up in orphanages. Through Olive Tree Projects, she has worked tirelessly to create sustainable healthcare programs that empower local communities. Maternal mortality, unwanted children, and poverty are all reasons why children end up in orphanages. Olive tree Projects work towards preventing these issues through three different programs.
